How We Care for Families

Whether you’re preparing for your first stay or looking for a way to support Ronald McDonald House Missoula, you’ll see that every meal served, every activity planned and every act of kindness is designed with one purpose: caring for the whole family.

From breakfast before an early morning appointment to a home cooked dinner after a long day at the hospital, our programs help ease everyday burdens so families can focus on their child.

Sunny Start Breakfast

Hospital mornings often begin before sunrise.

Sunny Start provides a nourishing breakfast for families before they head to appointments, treatments, surgeries or another day in the NICU. Every morning, our kitchen is stocked with fresh fruit, yogurt, waffles, bagels, muffins, granola bars, juice and other grab and go favorites, ensuring families can start the day with one less thing to worry about.

Help Families Start the Day

Volunteer to prepare freezer breakfast items or donate breakfast foods to keep our kitchen stocked year-round.

Meals from the Heart

After a long day at the hospital, families shouldn’t have to worry about preparing dinner.

Meals from the Heart provides warm dinners for guest families nearly every evening, thanks to the generosity of volunteers, donors, and community partners. Whether families gather around the table together or grab a meal when their schedule allows.

A shared meal is more than nourishment. It’s a reminder that an entire community is standing behind each family.

Help Serve Dinner

Gather your family, coworkers, church group or friends to prepare an evening meal, or become a monthly meal sponsor.

Super Siblings

When a child is receiving medical care, brothers and sisters are on the journey too.

Super Siblings celebrates these remarkable children with activities, crafts, games, books and special experiences designed just for them. The program provides moments of joy, normalcy and connection while reminding siblings that they are seen, valued and loved.

Help Celebrate Super Siblings

Your gift provides activities, books, games, birthday celebrations and special experiences for the incredible siblings who call Ronald McDonald House Missoula their temporary home.
