How the Referral Process Works

Start With Your Healthcare Team

Patients cannot reserve a Heman Lodging room directly.

If you are receiving cancer treatment through Community Medical Center and believe you may qualify, please talk with your nurse navigator, social worker or another member of your healthcare team.

Your healthcare team will submit a referral on your behalf. Once the referral has been received and reviewed, you’ll be contacted with information about availability and next steps.

A referral does not guarantee a room. Stays are based on eligibility, treatment needs and room availability, with priority given to patients actively receiving cancer treatment.

Cost of Your Stay

Jane S. Heman Lodging was created to provide an affordable lodging option for patients who need to remain in Missoula during cancer treatment.

Lodging is $45 per night.

There is also a one-time $20 guest safety screening fee for each adult guest.

If you have questions about the cost of your stay, please talk with your healthcare team or our staff.

What to Expect

Heman Lodging provides a quiet, comfortable place to rest during treatment.

Guests have access to their private room as well as the Heman Lodging kitchen, dining area, food storage and laundry facilities.

Because the space is shared with other patients who may also be navigating difficult treatment schedules, we ask everyone to help maintain a peaceful, clean and respectful environment.

Complete Heman Lodging Guest Guidelines will be provided as part of the registration and check-in process. Our team is always available to answer questions during your stay.
