Finding dinner waiting at Ronald McDonald House Missoula is a welcome relief for our families after a long day at the hospital.
Through Meals from the Heart, generous volunteers, businesses, restaurants and community groups provide dinner for our guest families nearly every evening of the year.
There are three easy ways to help:
Gather your family, friends, coworkers or community group and prepare dinner right here in our Ronald McDonald House Missoula kitchen.
On-site meal preparation is available Monday through Friday, with a maximum group size of six volunteers.
Your group provides the ingredients, prepares the meal in our kitchen, and helps clean up afterward. Dinner is served to our families at approximately 5 p.m.
Can’t cook at the House? You can still put dinner on the table.
Delivered meals are welcome any night of the week. For food safety, meals must come from a commercial kitchen, such as a restaurant or deli. Prepared frozen meals from a grocery store are also welcome.
You can drop off meals at the House or have them sent through a delivery service.

It costs approximately $250 to provide an evening meal for our guest families. Make a gift in any amount, and we’ll take care of the rest.
When making your gift, simply select Meal Program Support in the designation menu.
Because the number of families staying with us changes frequently, please contact us a day or two before your scheduled meal. We can provide an updated guest count and let you know about any dietary restrictions or needs among the families currently staying with us.
Families and younger volunteers are welcome to participate in many meal opportunities. Please contact us about age and supervision requirements when scheduling your group.
That’s okay. You don’t need to have it all figured out before you reach out.
